Lions Life Skills Programmes - Is based on the LIONS - TACADE partnership. Lions work with TACADE (Teachers Advisory Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse) to provide local schools with kits to help teach youngsters how to combat and deal with substance misuse and associated issues.

The Lions Young Ambassadors Scheme - Acknowledges the work of young people working as volunteers who lead by example within their communities. The scheme gives them the recognition they deserve, boosting their self esteem and confidence in themselves as well as highlighting the charities & volunteer groups with which they are involved.

Peace Poster Competitions - Started in 1988 by `Lions Clubs International`. The aim of this competition is to unite children worldwide to show their interpretation of `world peace`.

Financial help to - The many various appeals received for assistance from charitable organisations & needy individuals. A typical example is the donation of a computer to make live theatre accessible to the deaf by projecting information text onto theatre screens.
